I am a second year teacher currently teaching Grades 6/7 and also working as a Response to Intervention teacher with 9-12 students. I graduated from the Pre-K to 5 program at the University of Regina, but could not have predicted the path that my journey would take me down. After finishing the amazing journey of internship, I was excited to prepare for my own grade 4 classroom. I spent my summer and fall preparing my room, planning and bonding with some amazing individual only to be transferred to another school in October. Although this was a shock to me, I could not be more grateful for this experience. I have grown so much as an educator working with young adolescents and marveling at their passion for learning. Although I am still adjusting to the amount of work that teachers do (and gaining much respect for all of my prior teachers), I absolutely love this career. I am excited to network with educators and enhance my students’ learning through technology.
